CIS September 2005

The telemetry buoy together with the Temperature Logger sensor broke free and started drifting at 1000 13-April-2006. This change in configuration resulted in microcats nominally at 10 and 25 m falling to circa 250m.

The Research Vessel RV Pelagia serviced the CIS mooring in September 2005. The electrical connection to the deeper sensors has been broken but the temperature logger and 2 microcats are sending data regularly via satellite. The full data set will be recovered when the mooring is next serviced.
