For a period between 9/01/2003 and 12/01/2003 no data was received via the satellite link : it is presumed that this was due to the arial being pulled below the sea surface by the force of the currents which could be seen to be building at that time. When the mooring is serviced in the Spring the data stored on board each Microcat will be used to fill in this 'gap'.
